Phase behavior and phase structure of Igepal CO 520/CnH2n+1OH/H2O system

摘要
With increasing of n in CnH2n+1OH, the lamellar liquid crystal region increases and W/O region moves upward in the three components phase diagram, and the maximum water content (molar fraction) solubilized in W/O region is constant but the molar ratio of CnH2n+1OH/Igepal 520 decreases at maximum water content, The chain length of CnH2n+1OH is n > 8 in the lamellar liquid crystal and n > 10 in the W/O region.
