This special feature offers a look at what goes into the making of a good congregational history. Drawing on her years of experience as a writer of local history, Carol Kammen guides the reader through time-honored and less conventional modes of research. Presented as a guide for amateur congregational historians, this article also considers multiple formats for the presentation and preservation of church history.
