摘要
One novel manganese(II) complex [Mn-2(alpha-Furacrylic radical)(4)(phen)(2)(H2O)]center dot H2O with alpha-furacrylic acid radical and 1,10-phenanthroline has been synthesized and characterized. Crystal data for this complex: monoclinic, space group C2/c, a=1.082 34(16) nm, b=2.4458(4) nm, c=1.8574(3) nm, beta=104.353(2)degrees, V=4.7635(12) nm(3), D-c=1.471 g . cm(-3), Z=4, F(000)=2 168. Final GooF=1.004, R-1=0.0397, wR(2)=0-1087. The crystal structure shows that two neighboring manganese(U) ions are linked together by two bridging alpha-furacrylic acid radicals and one bridging water molecule, forming a cage structure. The Mn(1)center dot center dot center dot Mn(1A) bond distance is 0.357 6 nm. Each manganese(II) ion is coordinated with two nitrogen atoms of one 1,10-phenanthroline molecule and four oxygen atoms from three a-furacrylic acid radicals and one water molecule, forming distorted octahedral coordination geometry. Thermal stability of the complex was also discussed. CCDC: 703674.
