摘要
Differences in collecting and keeping of animals in laboratory before experiments, acclimation condition, and the use of different measuring tools affect significantly on the results and make difficult to compare the data. The factors that should be taken into account in studying the cold hardiness of invertebrates are discussed. Methods for the determination of supercooling points and limits of long endurable low temperatures are described. The rates of cooling the objects are substantiated. The preliminary study of environmental factors and adaptation of the methodical approaches to features of the cold hardiness strategy, which is used by invertebrates, promotes to avoid false conclusions.
