摘要
The reversibility is one of the important requirements in watermarking techniques used for medical images. Application of reversible watermarking in colored medical images has not been explored to fullest. In this paper we propose a reversible watermarking technique for colored medical images using Histogram shifting method. The colored medical image is converted to YUV image and the watermark is embedded in the Luminance (Y) component. Histogram shift method is also evaluated by applying the technique on RGB components individually. The two techniques are evaluated on the basis of MSE and PSNR.
