摘要
In organic electrolyte solution, the intercalation of anions into graphite electrode bears enormous influence of the anion solvation. Traditional carbonate solvents inevitably have some shortcomings, therefore multi-solvent electrolyte solutions are more convenient and flexible in solving practical problems, but the anion storage mechanism is hard to be discerned. In this paper, the intercalation of tetrafluoroborate (BF4-) anions into graphite electrode from ethylene carbonate (EC)/gamma-butyrolactone (GBL) binary solutions are studied through several ex situ and in situ electrochemical methods. The electrochemical intercalation process of BF4- into graphite electrode from EC/GBL binary solutions is deduced. (c) 2019 The Electrochemical Society. [DOI: 10.1149/2.1221915jes]
