摘要
Stress urinary incontinence is a major public health problem affecting 20% of women and impairing quality of life. The aim of this study was retrospective analysis of the evolution of surgical treatment of female stress urinay incontinence. Material and methodes 109 women have been included in study between 1st january 2007 until 30th august 2017 with minimally 2nd degree stress urinary incontinence who underwent surgical treatment. Data have been recorded from hospital discharge at follow-up in private clinic. The surgical procedures have been performed by the same surgeon. Results Due to reduced postoperative costs, low operative time, patients comfort, the global trend is to quit native procedures, also tend to no longer be used due to patients decision and good information about surgical treatment also the pressure from patients who want minimally invasive procedures with certainty in time. Conclusions The share of surgical interventions for the correction of stress urinary incontinence with suburethral slings have been increased in the years 2012-2017. Low operative time, postoperative recovery of the patients, patients comfort, patients decision and good information about surgical treatment, the pressure from patients who want minimally invasive procedures with certainty in time and last but not least the increasing of the technical abilities of the operating team are the mainly explanations for the evolution of surgical treatment of stress urinary incontinence with sub-urethral slings thus became the first option of surgical treatment of stress urinary incontinence.
