摘要
Paralysis is the loss of ability to move some or all of the body. It is difficult for the paralysis people to live an independent life. Most of the recent research in smart-health care are focused on innovating technologies that could be used by individuals who are affected by this problem. In this paper a BCI based home controlling system has been proposed. The proposed system locates the position and orientation of the individual and hence identify the devices the user is targeting. User attention is captured using BCI module, which is further processed to identify the action. Proof of concept of the proposed approach was implemented. The experiments performed demonstrate that the proposed system could accurately identify the target device and hence could control the device.
