摘要：

Standards originally aim to protect human, animal, plant and natural environment.,They have conductive and detrimental effects on international trade. When they are misused, they are so-called 'standard barriers'. As China became the second biggest country in export, Chinese businesses especially SMBs become the target of standard barriers by western counterparters. This paper tries to analyze why Chinese export-oriented SMBs are vulnerable and how to turn threats into opportunities.
