Solid-state C-13 CP/MAS NMR spectra are reported for different EDTA-metal complexes. The effect of metal binding on the isotropic C-13 chemical shift and principal elements of the carboxyl C-13 chemical shift anisotropy (CSA) tensor are discussed. (C) 1997 by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
