摘要
In this paper, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) by the aqueous extract of Luffa acutangula were prepared by green synthesis and characterized using UV-Visible spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Antimicrobial activities of the synthesized AgNPs were also investigated against Escherichia colt and Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Further, the physico-chemical behaviour of AgNPs have been explained in order to explore the strength as well as nature of the interactions between AgNPs and various solvents by deriving thermodynamic parameters. A mathematical model is also proposed for the reliability of the experiment. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
