摘要
The aim of this report is a literature review of perineal hernia in the cat in regards to signalement, case history, clinical signs and surgery and to describe a case of perineal hernia with retroflexio vesicae in the cat of which a single case report has been published so far. Hernia perineales are very common in dogs (Hayes et al, 1978; Kauth, 1985; Rocken, 1992, Brissot et al., 2004, Sontas et al., 2008) and rare in cats (Rashbaum, 1965; Ashton, 1976; Leighton, 1979; Johnson und Gourley, 1980; Welches et al., 1992; Benitah et al., 2004; Galanty, 2005). In the last decades hundreds of papers have been published about perinea (hernia in dogs, feline perineal hernia has been described in only 50 cats of which 40 cases are summarized in a multicenter study by Welches et al. (1992). According to literature canine perineal hernia is an emergency in 10% (Kauth, 1985; Rticken, 1992) to 29% (White and Herrtage, 1986; Dupre et al., 1993; Hosgood et al., 1995, Brissot et al., 2004, Grand et al., 2004) of the cases because of a retroflexio vesicae. Only one cat with hernia perinealis and retroflexio vesicae has been described (Risselada et al., 2003).
