摘要
The adsorption of methyl orange dye (MO) on multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) from aqueous solutions was investigated in a batch stirred cell. The effects of temperature, stirring speed, MO concentration, MWCNT mass on MO adsorption were investigated. The results showed that the MO adsorption increased with its concentration in the aqueous solutions. MO adsorption also increased with temperature. The MO removal from the solution increased as MWCNT mass increases. The kinetic study demonstrated that MO adsorption on MWCNTs was in a good accordance with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model.
