摘要
The global capitalism increases general wealth of the world but places a considerable part of society in a difficult situation. We observe a phenomenon of so-called social exclusion and consequently a development of different social pathologies. Cooperatives, which activities are guided by their values and principles, create an opportunity for many people to engage in social and professional activity as well as an improvement of material conditions. In a way, cooperatives moderate global capitalism by making it more human friendly. They are a good school of democracy.
