Noble selectivity change in the hydrogenation of CO over palladium membrane catalysts

摘要
Higher selectivity for oxygenated products was observed in CO-H-2 reaction when hydrogen was supplied separately by the permeation through Pd membrane, than that when both CO and H-2 were supplied on Pd surface from the gas phase, indicating the direct participation of bulk hydrogen for oxygenated product formation.
