Performance simulation of traveling wave type ultrasonic motor

摘要
In this paper, taking into account the traveling wave type ultrasonic motot (TWUM) with diameter of 60mm, authors apply the elastic contact principle to deduce the TWUM's simulation model. According to the actual TWUM's structure parameter, the operational characteristic is presented. In this paper, given the varied applied torque, and applied axial force, the TWUM's operation performance is obtained. It makes it possible to predict most of the behavior and performance characteristics of TWUM as a function of the external loading parameters. The motor measurement is also executed. The simulation results agree with the test results. And it shows this simulation model is valid.
