摘要
Non-linear loads draw harmonic current and propagate them through the supply line. These current affect both the consumers and utility. To eliminate harmonics shunt active filters are widely used. In this paper three phase four wire shunt active filter is analyzed for the mitigation of power quality problem. Task of an active filter is to make the supply current waveform as close as possible to a sinusoid in phase with the supply voltage. Id and Iq control strategy is used to extract three phase reference current. Output of the PI controller tuned by neural network controller and result is compared. Design, simulation development and study of shunt active filter is accomplished using MATLAB Simulink power system tool box.
