摘要
A new technique is proposed to introduce a narrow notch band to UWB antennas excited by microstrip lines.The technique is applied to an UWB dielectric resonator antenna. A short circuit microstrip stub that is parasitically coupled to the microstrip line is used to create a stopband filter at the desired frequency. Several notch bands can easily be introduced as the length of the stub is related to the notch frequency. The technique is verified experimentally. (c) 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
