摘要
Many unique properties make aerogels become a new hot spot in the field of materials presently. It has broad application prospects in the fields of optics, acoustics, electronics and environmental protection. This paper proceeded from history and present study of silica aerogels, summarized the preparation and application in the field of thermal insulation of it, explored the possibility of applying it to thermal insulating materials for the lower thermal conductivity, put forward the research orientation in the future, and proposed its vast potential for application perspective.
