摘要
The SiC/SiC at RT and C/SiC composites offer good resistant to high cycle fatigue. Considered are the fatigue damage behavior of these materials. They include ply-delamination, bundle splitting, matrix cracking, fiber fracture, fiber bridging, interfacial debonding etc. After fatigue, it is found for the C/SiC composites that the Young's modulus decreases considerably while the fracture strain, residual strength and electrical resistance are increased. Examined also is the tension-tension fatigue behavior of 2D C/SiC notched specimens. Some peculiar effects are reported.
