摘要
The paper discusses the regularities of submicrometer- grained (SMG) structure formation, i.e. a structure with grain size of about 0.1 mu m in a number of model and commercial aluminium alloys, The SMG structure was produced in the alloys by means of a strain-heat treatment which includes ultimately large plastic deformation and fixing initial stages of recrystallization. The alloy mechanical properties were studied at room and elevated temperatures.
