摘要
Characterization of iron ore particles is of great importance for the study of mineral composition. In this paper we analyzed the influence of the dynamics on the sintering process as compared to other modern technique of metallurgical simulation Discrete Element Method (DEM). The samples are from several types of iron ore, symbolically denoted by A, B, C, D, E and F. A sintering mixture is prepared, with typical ingredients, and a granulometric analysis of the chemical composition is also performed. DEM modeling was performed assuming the spherical shape of particles and the application of the dynamic model in this simulation resulted in the modification of physical and mechanical properties, and also in a change of the particle equilibrium dynamics. The formation of the agglomeration layer on a tilted bed is a process of falling through the rolling of granules of different sizes with inevitable segregation. We thus note a modification of the internal, external forces, resulting in particles motion and self-motion. This modification process of kinetic and dynamic characteristics is highlighted according to DEM. It is therefore very important to know the quantitative ratio between granulometic fractions and. granular nuclei, features that have influence on the motion and contact forces between particles.
