摘要
This paper presents the use of electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) structure in the MIMO application for mutual coupling reduction. The proposed antenna consists of a group of EBG structure between two antennas at different orientation of the antenna polarization. As a results, about 30 dB reduction of mutual coupling is obtained from the simulation process. This antenna is suitable to be used for MIMO and 5G application
