摘要：
In order to provide scientists with access to both high magnetic fields and very low temperatures simultaneously, to pursue studies of the properties of matter in highly polarized or magnetized states, the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory operates a High B/T Facility as a user facility at the University of Florida. This facility is designed with high refrigeration capabilities to permit studies of a wide range of applications for extended periods of time. An overview of the principal characteristics of the facility and the current scientific areas of interest are presented. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
