摘要：

This paper aims to find the relationship between English teaching and formation of college students' wordd view. Through document retrieval, the author found that people seldom payed attention to English teaching's influence on college students' world view, and they took it for granted that Marxism ideological and political teachers were responsibal for it. Actually, English teaching can be very influencial in shaping college students' world view. By studying the features of English teaching and college students, the author finds that English is very important in college students' study and life, so it is possible for teachers to fulfill their potential: on class and after class.
