A Pine Tree Shaped CPW-Fed Monopole Antenna for Wireless and Satellite Applications

摘要
A CPW-fed pine tree shaped monopole antenna is proposed. The size of the antenna is 30 x 20 x 1.6 mm(3). The proposed antenna has wide applications in wireless communication, military operations, satellite and some space operations. The bandwidth obtained is 1.07 GHz (1.9-2.97 GHz) in the lower frequency range i.e., 48.63% and in the higher frequency range we have a bandwidth of 3.36 GHz (6.53-9.89 GHz) i.e., 35.36%. The resonating frequencies are 2.2 GHz and 9.5 GHz with gain 17.11 dB and 8.04 dB respectively.
