摘要：

Vector space model is one of the widely used information retrieval models. Aiming at it's exist problems, here use singular value decomposition to reduces the dimension of document vector. A decomposition parameter was put forward. It can also be consider as a retrieval precision. Using the decomposition parameters, not only improve the retrieval recall and precision, but also more importantly, greatly speed up the retrieval speed.
