摘要
A silicon microring-resonator-based temperature sensor which consists of a microring resonator and two straight waveguide at both sides studied. Detailed analysis and simulation are presented and a proof of concept structure is optimized to demonstrate a resonator with resonance wavelength variation about 100.73 pm/K within 50 K temperature range. Two novel methods of tuning the temperature sensor by changing the effective index and the round-trip amplitude transmission factor are proposed and optimized.
