摘要
Marchenko autofocusing constructs arbitrary acoustic wavefields inside an unknown heterogeneous medium from a single-sided, bandlimited in practice, reflection response by solving the Marchenko equation. Presence of short-period scattering leads to erroneous solutions and therefore incorrect medium characterization. We show that augmenting this equation with energy conservation and minimum phase conditions enables to correct these erroneous solutions, and thus it removes the long-/short-period timescale separation and solves this long standing problem.
