The role of security in development of tourism

Tourism development is one of the most important criteria of social, political, and economic improvement in the world. Due to the role that tourism can play in this particular situation especially in Iran, it is important to pay much attention to its necessity and emergency. Successful tourism is underlined in conformity and suitable functions of some factors which have integrated relations. One of the most important factors is security of tourist and their destinations. Nowadays, security is one of the fundamental factors in conduct of tourism development strategy in the world. There is a significant relation between tourism, stability, development, and security, and any insecurity and violence can be lead to irreparable detriments in variety levels to this industry. The aim of this article is to examine the role of security in development of sustainable tourism, and the main constraint in development of this industry in Iran. At the end, some implication to development of this industry will be presented.
