摘要：

In this paper we propose a framework for multi agent based intrusion defection system. A specific feature of this model is that the agent uses algorithm for pattern mining from security logs and the fuzzy logic to process log files. This reduces the overhead in a distributed intrusion defection system. We have developed a prototype based on this framework. This paper discusses also the issues of combining intelligent agent technology With the intrusion detection methodology.
