摘要
Objectives: To identify the user profile in the Outpatient Mental Health and Psychosocial Care Center of Lorena - Sao Paulo. Methods: A descriptive exploratory study with data collected from medical records of 5,830 users of both services for mental health. Results: We analyzed 5,490 outpatient medical records, and 340 from the Psychosocial Care Center. In the outpatient clinic, 68% of users were women and in the Psychosocial Care Center, 61% were men. Prevalent diagnoses in the outpatient clinic were: neurotic disorders, stress-related and somatoform disorders; in the Psychosocial Care Center, they were disorders arising from the use of psychoactive substances. The medications most commonly prescribed in the clinic were antidepressants, and in the Psychosocial Care Center, antipsychotics. Conclusion: It was noted that mental health services are delivered in a manner that is disjointed from primary care, and it is necessary to implement a support matrix in this city.
