摘要
This paper aims at developing an integrated model of a fixed speed horizontal axis wind turbine, coupled with a dual pole induction generator, having an electro dynamic brake across the stator terminals. The system components are modelled using Matlab/Simulink, and through simulation the steady state as well as dynamic performance of the system is analysed, for various Electrodynamic Brake (EDB) parameters R and C. The results are graphically presented to provide useful guidelines regarding the operating region of the system.
