摘要
The reactivity of wood component with formulation containing organosilanes and plant oil was analyzed. Structural analysis of cellulose after the reaction with MTMOS/NOTES blend and after extraction with water was performed using FTIR spectroscopy. Analyzed FTIR spectra included 800.cm(-1) bands responsible for vibrations of SiC and/or SiO groups. These bands are typical for silicon-carbon and silicon-oxygen bonds originating from the methoxy groups from organosilanes. The presence of these bands in the spectra proves the reaction between cellulose and organosilanes. Silicon content in wood treated with tested formulation, as well as in cellulose derived from the wood, was determined by atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) analysis after the extraction with water.
