摘要
One of non-poultry livestock with high-level consumption in Indonesia is the goat. There are two common goat diseases with similar symptoms, tetanus and botulism. However, these two diseases treatment are different, so there is a need for system which can help goat farmer to differ between botulism and tetanus disease. In the previous study, an expert system used to diagnose these diseases has been developed using one expert judgment to build diagnosis rules using certainty factors. In this study, we develop this expert system with enhancement involving five expert knowledge. This development uses brainstorming method to reconfirm the symptoms, each symptom certainty factor, and treatment recommendation. This study explores information system requirement gathering method in knowledge management domain, which is an expert system. The result of this study is a responsive web-based application for goat farmer. This system can diagnose the goat disease whether classified as tetanus or botulism, with mild, moderate, or severe level of illness along with the treatment. Therefore, goat farmers can give proper treatment without the hassle of finding a veterinarian, even further, they can prevent mortality of the goat.
