摘要
Radars are primarily used to determine the velocity, range, and direction of arrival. Several methods have been developed in the literature to determine the target's direction of arrival. In this paper, we first examine how sparse array structures perform in a multi-path environment when the multi-path components are close to the target, and then we examine how these sparse array structures perform in multiple targets then extend it to targets close to each other. In addition, the high resolution subspace-based approach MUltiple-SIgnal Classification (MUSIC) is compared to the Compressive sensing-based recovery method Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP). The results obtained, when compared to many state-of-the-art algorithms shows that the suggested approach in this paper works effectively.
