摘要
Throughout the world, there is concern by prepare students with the global competencies to meet the challenges of designing and building electric vehicles for the near future of 2025-2030 in order to improve our quality of life, and at the same time reduce or even reverse the negative impact of the generation of harmful gases in the environment; we believe that it must meet these challenges through the incorporation of the Information and Communication Technologies as well as the Global Collaborative Learning and Project-Based Learning pedagogical strategies with the approach of social responsibility. This paper aims to share innovative educational experiences that respond to the challenges of coverage, access, quality and egress facing higher education in the ESIME Ticoman IPN (National Polytechnic Institute) through Project 2015 PACE (Partners for the Advancement of Collaborative Engineering Education) Global Competition. The goal of PACE is to allow engineering students receive practical experience with the current tools of CAD / CAE / CAM used in the automotive industry. The teaching strategies are collaborative learning and active learning as well as the approach to systems engineering and fundamentally motivation is privileged. IPN Students participating in the global project are students from different semesters of Engineering in Automotive Systems, and make up the team of the IPN Mexico, which in turn, conform the team 3 with Hongik University Korea, Jillin University China, Tuskegee University USA, Northwestern University USA and University of British Columbia Canada in the development of "Reconfigurable Shared-Use Mobility System" global project. Since IPN has actively participated representing Mexico at PACE, results and challenges arising from the project competition 2015 PACE Global Annual Forum Rethinking Mobility are presented.
