The changes of ash fusion temperature as result of coal chemical pretreatment

摘要
The aim of proposed research was the investigation of effects of chemical treatment of coal upon fusion temperature of coal ash. The different coal samples were subjected to treatment by diluted solutions of hydrochloric acid, ortho-phosphoric acid, sodium hydroxide and calcium hydroxide. The fusion temperature of ashes from treated coal samples were compared with those for untreated coals. It was found that fusibility of coal ash have been significantly changed as result of coal treatment. The strong correlation between ash chemical composition and its fusion temperature was also found.
