Four 3d-4d heterometallic coordination polymers, [Ag2M(HTzDC)(2)center dot 3H(2)O](n)(M = Co(1), Ni(2), Zn(3) and {[(CH3)(2)NH2][AgCu5(TzDC)(4)center dot 6H(2)O]center dot 6H(2)O]}(n)(4) (H(3)TzDC = 1,2,3-triazole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid) were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions using one-step approach and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, power X-ray diffraction and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that complexes 1-3 are isostructural, the three dimensional frameworks is composed of Ag ions and transition metals which linked by TzDC ligands; the complex 4 exhibits a three-dimensional architecture constructed by planar {AgCu4N12} units. The magnetic properties of compounds 1-2 and 4 were investigated. (C) 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
