摘要
This paper presents design and simulation of a circular shaped fractal patch antenna. Fractal concept is applied to achieve multi band and miniaturization of antenna. Antenna is designed till iteration-2 by applying fractal concept in patch. Antenna for biomedical applications are required for patient's health monitoring. Antenna is designed on Fr-4 substrate of size 40mm x 40mm and simulated using CST microwave studio. The deigned antenna operates in the frequency range of 2.01 GHz-4.78 GHz with two resonating frequencies 2.45 GHz and 4.22 GHz. Antenna is resonating in ISM band 2.4-2.5 GHz. Different parameters of designed antenna are observed like reflection coefficient, VSWR, surface current and gain.
