摘要
A second-generation synthesis of the rearranged spongian diterpene aplyviolene is reported. The key step is the addition of a trialkyl tertiary radical generated by photoredox-mediated fragmentation of a N-(acyloxy) phthalimide to an α-chloropentenone (see scheme).
