摘要
The 4.8 mol% MgO-dissolved (001) LiNbO3 single crystal had a peak of oxygen in the coaxial impact collision ion scattering spectrum unlike a pure (001) LiNbO3. The azimuthal angle dependence of O signal intensities shows a sixfold symmetry, but we cannot readily reproduce this sixfold symmetry from our simulation model. However, every peak position of the simulated spectrum with the O-terminated model matched with the measured one. The azimuthal intensity variations of Nb had a threefold symmetry and the simulated spectra reproduced the same symmetry. Every Nb peak position of the simulated spectrum matched with the measured one, but the shape of the simulated spectrum was different. This discrepancy of the shape comes from the inherent problems of the software utilized, i.e. the neglect of the contribution from the deep layers. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
