摘要
The transformations occurring in Latin American labour markets tend to make the traditional dichotomies used to describe work situations increasingly ineffective. The authors propose the interdisciplinary concept of quality of employment, which, regarding its multidimensional and contextualised nature, allows us to comprehend all its diversity and to evaluate the qualitative deficits on the labour markets. Finally, quality of employment has the characteristics required to become an indispensable instrument for guiding public policies in Latin America, provided that it is truly interdisciplinary.
