摘要：

The paper focuses on the enhancement of processing the material requirements planning (MRP) data with the help of software systems in the educational environment. The capabilities of two leading educational software systems WinQSB and POM-QM for Windows which offer the possibility of processing the MRP data are explored. The outcomes of this work have shown that the WinQSB's MRP module is afar more suitable system than POM-QM for Windows's MRP module and that students had positive experience with the use of it. The results of this study are useful for both academics and practitioners interested in training and education in the field of resource planning.
