摘要
In this paper, we address the assessment on the classical approaches for estimating equivalent added-masses in liquid-structure-interacted dynamic systems. As is well known, in the classical approaches, the vibration of interior liquids has been treated as one in rigid tank while the equivalent masses of liquid added to structure has been estimated by neglecting the liquid free-surface fluctuation. However, here we try to justify the classical interface modeling techniques by relaxing the classical assumptions. The numerical results illustrating our theoretical work are also presented.
