摘要
This paper presents the study of daylighting for energy conservation in the tropics. An on-off control method was adopted to estimate electric lighting demand in non air-conditioned building located in Bangkok, Thailand. The influences of window configurations in terms of window size, window height, glazing type, and orientation on electric fighting demand were analyzed in annual and monthly basis. Daylighting algorithm used in this study was developed by considering the tropical sky and climate conditions to simulate light gain and then assess in energy mode during work period. To validate the calculation results, experiments were carried out. Statistical analysis comparing the observation of model and experiments are then presented and described.
