摘要
A novel fault section location method based on characteristic frequency sequence determined by multiple combinations for distribution network is proposed. This method S-tranforms the transient zero-mode current components of every detection point on a whole line, and selects the characteristic frequency sequence based on the corresponding frequency point of its maximum transient energy. On the above basis, taking the whole line as a system, it calculates the relative entropy values of any two adjacent detection points of transient zero-mode current. Finally, it compares the calculated entropy values. After all the combinations are compared, the section with the highest number of "possible fault section" judgement will be judged as fault section. By adopting relative entropy value to measure the difference of waveforms, characteristic effect can be obviously presented and multiple combinations method can improve the credibility of fault location results.
