摘要：
Sarcomas are rare aggressive malignant tumors of the stromal tissue having a poor prognosis. The relationship between carcinogenesis of sarcomas around foreign bodies has been described in medical literature. The chronic inflammation induced by the foreign body produces oxidative and nitrative stress. It also liberates genotoxic mediators and enhances the carcinogenesis. The tumors grow up many years after surgery. We report a case of uterine carcinosarcoma induced by a vaginal foreign body, forgotten nine years before. (C) 2012 Elsevier Masson SAS.
