摘要
The study evaluated the performances of a commercial multiplex PCR assay, the Seegene Seeplex STI Master Panel 3, for Candida spp. identification. Eighty clinical strains of Candida spp. were identified with this system and a homemade multiplex PCR assay. The results were also compared with those obtained with two phenotypic methods. The study provided a preliminary evaluation of a multiplex assay from Seegene that uses capillary electrophoresis as the detection of amplified products. The Seeplex assay was found to be a rapid and useful method for identifying large numbers of yeast isolates in the clinical laboratory context. (C) 2012 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
