摘要
In order to optimize the customers' dining experience and promote the efficiency of the waiters and the managers, an economical wireless ordering system with touch screens based on Bluetooth technology is designed for the restaurants. The Single-chip Microprocessor (SCM) MSP430F149 is employed to form the minimum system. A TFT touch screen with a memory card is used for the customers to order dishes. The Bluetooth serial port is used to establish the wireless communication. To make the design economical, the LCD is selected to display the sequence of the ordered dishes. The functions, such as ordering with touch screens, sending ordering data through the Bluetooth serial port and displaying the dishes in the kitchen are achieved successfully. The application of the SCM with low power consumption and Bluetooth wireless communication module can speed up the processing. Thus the management cost of the restaurants can be decreased efficiently.
